
The KMITL Data Management Center (KDMC) has been notified that there are new forms of Spam Mail and Phishing Mail attempting to trick users into clicking links or providing personal information. These fraudulent emails may contain content such as:
✅ Requests to verify your email account
✅ Notifications prompting you to change your password
✅ Invitations to join LINE groups or other platforms
✅ Links that attempt to trick users into logging in through fake websites
⚠️ Do not be deceived and avoid clicking on any suspicious links.
If you receive a suspicious email, please verify its authenticity before taking any action. Do not enter your password or any personal information under any circumstances.
📌 If you receive a phishing email or are unsure whether an email is spam, you may report it by forwarding the email to 📩 kdmc@kmitl.ac.th, so our team can investigate further. For more information, please contact the KMITL Data Management Center (KDMC).
⚠️ What to do if you accidentally clicked a link or took action?
🔴 If you clicked a link and entered your password:
✔️ Change your email account password immediately (I-AM KMITL).
✔️ Enable Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA) for added security.
🔴 If you downloaded and opened an email attachment:
✔️ Do not install any software attached to the email.
✔️ Run a virus scan immediately using antivirus or anti-malware software.
🔴 If you transferred money or shared personal information:
✔️ Immediately contact your bank or relevant authorities to freeze transactions.
✔️ Report the incident to the KMITL Data Management Center (KDMC) for further guidance.
