Creating a Google Meet Room for Future Use

The “Create a Meeting Later” feature in Google Meet is designed to help instructors or users create a meeting link for future use without needing to start the meeting immediately or specify a time. The link remains valid for 365 days from the last use, offering flexibility for teaching or meetings without the need to create a new meeting room each time.

Follow these simple steps to create a meeting link:

1.Open a web browser and visit https://meet.google.com, or access the Google Meet app on your mobile device.
2.Click the New meeting button.
3.Select the option “Create a meeting for later” to generate a meeting link in advance.
4.Copy the link and share it with participants.

This feature makes scheduling and managing meetings or classes more convenient and efficient.
